Dr. Sumit Rana is a multi specialist, Multilingual , highly qualified doctor , He is a vocationally trained General Practitioner (GP) and vocationally trained Consultant Cardiologist .
He is registered with the Irish Medical council in the specialist division of General Practice as well as Cardiology ( internal Medicine )
He did his Basic internal medicine training (BST internal Medicine ) in UHL , Limerick and His most of training done in Ireland , UK, France ,Lithuania
During his training Dr. Rana worked in University Hospital Limerick ,Beaumont Hospital Dublin .
He has more than 12 years of medical experience of working as a doctor and most of the experience was gained in Ireland ,UK (Aylesbury ,High Wycombe ) , France ( Strasbourg) . He is an active member of many Educational societies in Ireland and all across the Europe.
Dr. Rana has worked as a consultant cardiologist in Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown Dublin and University Hospital Kerry ,Tralee . He has worked as a GP in various GP practices in Dublin and Limerick.
Dr. Rana is passionate , kind and very hard working doctor who is a certified double specialist doctor which is very rare .
He is one of the first few doctors in Ireland who are willing to provide direct specialist services as primary care level in order to give better care to the patients and avoid waiting lists in the Hospitals . With the vision of providing specialist care at the primary level he started to work in Thorndale Medical Clinic .
He speaks English , Russian , Hindi , Urdu , Punjabi and Lithuanian fluently and basic of Finnish language
